RRHP Learn to Skate
Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:15-1:00pm, Starts June 29th
This class is for all ages and abilities. Open to the beginner & recreational ice skater. A great way to prepare for ice hockey. Come join the fun!

RRHP Freestyle
Tuesdays & Thursdays 4:45-6:00pm, Starts June 24th
Freestyle ice is available to advanced skaters, Basic 5 and above,
to practice their moves and freestyle skating.

Curling Comes to Riley Rink
June 27 - July 18, Sundays from 4-6pm
The first hour will be instruction, followed by an hour of playing!
Come join us for Curling this summer. An experience instructor
will introduce you to the fun sport of curling.

Wear warm, loose-fitting clothing and bring (do not wear)
clean, rubber-soled sneakers (e.g., tennis shoes);
equipment provided; no experience necessary.

Adult Pick Up Hockey
June 27 - August 1

Weekly pick-up games are open for players
who want the challenge of playing in a game, but
can't make the full commitment to league hockey.
Open to all ability levels; full gear required.

Adult B League Hockey
June 27 - August 1

B-League: For the intermediate player who has hockey experience and wants to play in a recreational hockey league; or a more experienced player who wants to play in a more relaxed environment. Higher-level players who participate are expected to play down to this level in order to be allowed to participate. A strong emphasis will be placed on sportsmanship and enjoying playing the game. This is a non-checking league. Open to adults, 18 and over, male and female.
Must have up-to-date USA Hockey membership.

Energy Expo & Music Festival

The third annual LIVE GREEN, Energy Expo and Music Festival which will feature over 20,000 square feet exhibitors, workshops and live music. Please note our new date: Saturday, September 11, 2010 in Manchester, VT. We are very excited to offer LIVE GREEN on the same weekend as the Maple Leaf Half Marathon, an event that draws runners and their families from throughout the northeast!

Our goal is to bring together the entire spectrum of green products and services to help consumers, both individuals and businesses, discover ways to live greener and build a more sustainable community. Exhibitors will represent all aspects of this growing industry including efficient, renewable and alternative energy, green building materials, finance and banking, educational institutions, agricultural groups, personal life-style products, crafts, and an even bigger eco market that will offer foods and produce, jewelry, green accessories, and household products.

As the Energy Expo closes, our Musical Festival begins with a variety of bands performing from 5pm to 8 pm. Great Food and a Beer/Wine Tent will keep you going throughout the evening.

We are planning for more than 1,000 attendees who will visit our show in hopes of learning new ways to go green. This is an exceptional opportunity for you to showcase your green products and broaden your marketing reach.

C-League Hockey The C-League was introduced to offer a level for the novice player wanting to enjoy the recreational experience of ice hockey; perfect for those who have taken our adult hockey classes or those who have lost a couple of strides over the years. Higher-level players who participate are expected to play down to this level in order to be allowed to participate. This is a non-checking league. Open to men and women. Must have USA Hockey Registration completed to play.

Beginner Youth Hockey This class is designed for youth ages 4-14 years. Parents may join in on the class. Learn the game of hockey while improving skating skills. Fun filled drills guaranteed to increase your love for the game. A great primer for NHA travel league hockey!

Cross Ice Thanks to a generous donor the CROSS ICE program is back again this season. On Wednesday nights the NHA skaters can play cross ice free of charge. Cross Ice is short sided games which provide the opportunity for skaters to touch the puck more frequently than a full ice game at a quick pace.

All coaches are welcomed to join…in fact strongly encouraged! It’s a great teaching opportunity FREE of charge for the NHA! For the schedule or more information, please call 802-362-0150 ext 0.

Parent and ME Learn to Skate! Child & parent can learn to skate together in a FUN yet RELAXED atmosphere; rentals included. Ages 3-6.

Snow Day Day camp on School "snow days" This program is available to elementary school ages 5-11 years when school is cancelled because of a "snow day". The goal is to provide skating and activities for children that will enhance their skating skills and appreciation for the sport of figure skating and/or hockey.

Each day will consist of at least 3 hours of skating time (lessons, structured games & free skating), off ice activities (mini seminars, quiet study time, video/game time), snack and lunch. Program will be fully supervised by rink staff, professional skating instructors and BBA high school community service volunteers who are skilled skaters. Snack and lunch are not included, but can be purchased at the rink concession stand.

Any School Snow Day (Monday thru Friday): 9:00am - 4:00pm

Equipment: Skates, helmet and mouth gaurd required,
layered clothing or snowsuit and mittens.

School Skate School Skate starts Thursday January 7, 2008 and runs thru March 6th. There is a break during the one week of school vacation (February 15-19). Program runs from 1PM until 2:45PM. The program cost $83 per student, with a family maximum of $205 if registered before December 18th, 2009. If registered after this date the cost will be $100 per student, family maximum $245. Rental skates are included, helmets are required. Concessions will be open during school skate for your convience.

JISP skiers/riders are welcomed to double register and participate in School Skate Program when JISP is canceled at a reduced rate of $40 pre-registered or $10/day. Only students who have pre-registered may take part in lesson programs.

Skate Rentals and Pro Shop The Pro Shop at Riley Rink rents both hockey and figure skates for public skate sessions, or visit the shop to have your own skates professionally sharpened. The Pro Shop offers a full array of skating accessories, equipmentand supplies. The shop is open for all public skating sessions.

Great Food at Riley Rink Make the day complete by enjoying a scrumptious breakfast, lunch or dinner, with healthy options and reasonable prices. Open during all public skating seasons.
